Starting the 4th of December 2019, all businesses located in the U.S. or targeting users in the U.S. will be required to identify new and edited ad campaigns that offer housing, employment, or credit opportunities, or their ads will not be allowed to run.

Because of this update in the Facebook policies, you'll be required to select a category if your campaign falls into the cases described here.

For campaigns that belong to the special categories, that were previously created without this set-up and that you would like to keep running, you must edit the campaigns directly in the FB ads manager to add the configuration.

This will automatically update your ad sets to make them compliant with the new rules.

These regulations are planned to be enforced for all businesses inside those categories starting March 31, 2020. 👮🏽‍♀️👮🏼‍♂️

What is the impact of these changes on my campaigns? We give more details in the following article.
